Subject: A student finding a listserv related to this topic.
Hello everyone,
I am a student in asl 3 and am wondering if there are any
listserves that deal exclusively with asl signing and/or interpreting?
I am signing a song for a project and am wondering how you would interpret
'weeds' , I have been told you could use 'bad flower' or 'bad grass'
but is there something more specific in the rdeaf community. Where
would I find such a list.
Anyway,
thank you

Subject: Can you help?
I don't know if I began to look for someone that
can help me to find my long lost friend. Her name
is Cindy Scott or Cythina, I am not sure. She moved
from Indianapolis, Indiana to Tucson, Ariz in 1968 or 69.
She should graduated from Ariz School for the Deaf in
1978 or 1979. I have been thinking lot about her and
hope to meet her again. I graduated from ISD in 1979.
My name is Julie Rogers. Before maiden name is Belviy.
Hope you could trace her somehow and I will be appreciated
for your help. Thanks!!
Good day!!
Julie Rogers

Subject: Finger Spelling Tutor
I am part of a group of four college students from Algonquin College,
(Ottawa, ON, Canada) that have developed a 3D animated hand to instruct
people on how to finger spell.
We are offering this software as shareware and are encouraging feedback.
If you are interested, please email me back with either a location to send
the file or if that is not possible, I can set up an FTP site or send it
by email in MIME format.
Thank you for your time

Subject: looking for info
My mother is hearing impaired. She is not deaf but has great difficulty
talking to people, watching TV, talking on the phone, etc. She has an hearing
aid but it doesn't help much. The Doctor says she has nerve damage.
I am looking for information on products that can help (phone amplifiers, TV
captions, etc.). Would you know if there is a catalog or a source that I can
refer to? Thanks a million.

IS IT THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS INTERNET GAME ON PLANET EARTH?
Launch date is set for 9/1/95 for TREASURECHEST: QUEST 2000
I am designing an unusual and highly visual "internet game" that can be
played by anyone online, ( but especially by aspiring artists) right off the
internet.
Players will email their interactive game parts as they play, so an active
email account is helpful. It is not required, however. Finalists and winners
receive cash prizes, free web sites, studio commissions from my graphics firm
in Seattle, Washington, USA and some excellent exposure for their work if
they are developing artists. The game will "launch" officially on 9/1/95,
but some of the pages for it are already going up, although under construction.
You should take a peek and spread the word. Visit the skeleton site to see a
sneak preview of this outrageous and challenging game, which is called:
TREASURECHEST: Quest 2000

Let me know what you think of the art.
